CJI2d[NY] Penal Law art 145, Additional Definitions
ADDITIONAL DEFINITIONS
ALTER means to change some of the elements or ingredients without substituting an entirely new thing or destroying the identity of the thing affected.¹
ADULTERATE means to mix something impure or spurious with something pure or genuine, or an inferior article with a superior one of the same kind, or to render food or drink impure and unfit for consumption.²
CONTAMINATE means to make impure through mixture or contact with a foreign substance.³
