The appellant must file an opening brief of not more than 10 pages within 30 days after the matter is set for hearing, or 30 days after the transcript of the proceedings has been filed with the district court and provided to the parties, whichever is later. The respondent must file an answering brief of not more than 10 pages within 21 days thereafter. A reply brief is not required, but if one is filed, it must not be more than 5 pages and must be filed within 14 days after the answering brief is filed.
