Divisions—Jurisdiction

There are two divisions of the District Court: General Jurisdiction Division and Family Division. These rules shall apply to all cases in both divisions. Jurisdiction of the Family Division of the District Court is as described pursuant to NRS 3.223. All other civil or criminal case types constitute the General Jurisdiction Division of the District Court.
