ORDER 9
WHEREAS, in Order No. 20-8500-024, the Court ordered that on September 10
1, 2020, all New Mexico courts shall discontinue the use of CourtCall or other 11
similar services that require the parties to pay a fee for the service for all court 12
proceedings; and 13
WHEREAS, the Court having considered the recommendation to reinstate 14
Order No. 20-8500-024, and being sufficiently advised, Chief Justice C. Shannon 15
Bacon, Justice Michael E. Vigil, Justice David K. Thomson, Justice Julie J. Vargas, 16
and Justice Briana H. Zamora concurring; 17
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that Order No. 20-8500-024 is 18
hereby reinstated; and 19
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that New Mexico courts shall not use telephonic 20
and/or audio-video methods for court proceedings that require the parties to pay a 21
fee for the service, e.g. CourtCall and other similar services, until further action by 1
this Court; 2
IT IS SO ORDERED. 3
