Promptly upon appointment, the arbitrator shall attempt to discer n

any conflicts of interest in hearing the case and shall notify the parties thereof. Upon discovery of a conflict

of interest in hearing a case, an arbitrator shall file a motion for excusal. Upon a party's, the arbitrator's or the

court's own motion, the court for good cause may order that the arbitrator be excused from appointment to the

case. The court in its discretion may enter such an order without hearing.
