FINANCIAL POLICIES & INSURANCE
A. The Court shall comply with the Procurement Code, as amended.
NMSA 1978, §§ 13-1-28 to -199 (1984, as amended through 2016).
B. All monies and accounts of the Court, and all property and equipment,
shall be audited yearly in accordance with law, and copies of the annual
audit shall be provided to the chief judge of the Court and shall be made
available for inspection by the public. NMSA 1978, §§ 12-6-1 to -14
(1969, as amended through 2013).
C. No monies of the Court shall be paid out except under signed vouchers,
duly approved as provided by law. NMSA 1978, § 6-10-46 (2003).
D. The Court shall maintain workers’ compensation insurance for its
employees and such other insurance as the judges may determine or as
may be required by law.
E. The chief financial officer or chief clerk shall prepare financial reports
at the request of the chief judge and for presentations at Judges’
Meetings.
F. All financial records and reports shall be available to all Court
personnel. All such requests may be made to the chief clerk.
G. The Court shall maintain a Loss Prevention & Control Plan.
