Covered Services & Requirements

Members must meet certain eligibility requirements in order to be eligible for the covered services

described below.

Hospice recipients can be either Medicaid only eligible or Medicare and Medicaid dually eligible.

However, all members must be certified as terminally ill. A member is considered terminally ill if the

medical prognosis suggests a life expectancy of six months or less if the illness runs its normal course.
