Field Officers to Recommend, and Governor to Appoint, Company Officers
History
June 2, 1784 Amended 1792 providing that field officers were to nominate and recommend to the governor the captains and subalterns instead of appointing them. Amended 1903 added proviso that nominees had to be examined and qualified by an examining board. Repealed 1976.
