N.C.P.I.—Motor Vehicle 221.20
CONTROLLED-ACCESS HIGHWAY-DRIVING IN IMPROPER LANE, WRONG WAY.
The motor vehicle law provides that the operator of a vehicle on
any controlled-access highway1 is required to drive in the proper lane
provided for that purpose, in the proper direction and to the right of the
central dividing [curb] [separation section] [line].
A violation of this law is negligence within itself.
