N.C.P.I.—Motor Vehicle 221.15
CONTROLLED-ACCESS HIGHWAY-TURNS.
The motor vehicle law provides that it is unlawful for the operator
of a vehicle to make a [left turn] [semicircular or U-turn] on any
controlled-access highway1 except through an opening provided for that
purpose in the dividing [curb] [separation section] [line].
A violation of this law is negligence within itself.
