N.C.P.I.—Motor Vehicle 215.37
MIRRORS-WHEN INSIDE MIRROR WOULD BE INEFFECTIVE.
The motor vehicle law provides that when a motor vehicle, operated
on a [street] [highway], is so constructed or loaded as to render an inside
rearview mirror ineffective, it must be equipped with a mirror of a type
approved by the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles, located2 so as to reflect
to the driver a view of the [street] [highway] to the rear of such vehicle.
A violation of this law is not negligence within itself. However, the
evidence with regard to it is to be considered with all other facts in
evidence in determining whether (name driver) was negligent.
