N.C.P.I.—Motor Vehicle 203.66
STOPPING ON HIGHWAY-DISABLED TRUCKS, TRUCK TRACTORS, TRAILERS, OR SEMITRAILERS.
The motor vehicle law provides that the operator of any [truck]
[truck tractor] [trailer] [semitrailer] which is disabled upon any portion of
the highway shall display warning devices of a type and in a manner as
required under the rules and regulations of the United States Department
of Transportation2 as adopted by the Division of Motor Vehicles. Those
regulations provide: (Here state applicable regulations).3
A violation of this law is negligence within itself.
