N.C.P.I.—Motor Vehicle 202.60
SPEED LIMITATIONS ON BRIDGES, CAUSEWAYS, AND VIADUCTS.
The motor vehicle law provides that a special speed limitation
applies to a public [bridge] [causeway] [viaduct] when it is sign-posted
by the Department of Transportation as to the posted maximum speed.
In such case, it is the duty of a motorist not to drive upon such [bridge]
[causeway] [viaduct] at a speed greater than the posted maximum
speed. In this case the posted maximum speed was (state posted
speed).1
A violation of this law is negligence within itself.
