N.C.P.I.—Motor Vehicle 202.15
SPEED RESTRICTIONS-SPEED ZONES.
With respect to the [plaintiff's] [defendant's] (state number)
contention, the motor vehicle law provides that it is unlawful to operate a
motor vehicle at a speed greater than [35 miles per hour inside municipal
corporate limits] [55 miles per hour outside municipal corporate limits]
unless another maximum speed limit is posted.1
A violation of this safety statute is negligence in and of itself.
