N.C. Medicaid Clinical Coverage Policy No. 3D § 6.2

Provider Certifications

To qualify for enrollment as a Medicaid hospice provider, the hospice provider shall

obtain Medicare certification and licensure to provide Medicaid hospice services.

The provider of hospice services shall comply with:

a. N.C. General Statute (G.S.) Chapter 131E, Article 10 Hospice Licensure Act; and

b. 10A NCAC, Chapter 13, SUBCHAPTER 13K – HOSPICE LICENSING RULES.
