Failure to obtain certification — notice
(1) Upon failure of a judge to obtain a certificate
and after the expiration of the period within which an application for a temporary certificate may
be made, the judge is disqualified and there is a vacancy in the office.
(2) The commission shall send notice of the disqualification and vacancy to:
(a) the judge;
(b) the supreme court;
(c) the clerk and recorder of the judge’s jurisdiction; and
(d) the governing body.
