Mont. R. Arb. Fee Disp. 1.3

The following disputes are exempt from the operation of these rules:

(a) disputes which are subject to a valid arbitration agreement under applicable state

or federal law; and

(b) disputes which are the subject of litigation filed prior to actual receipt of the

Petition by the State Bar of Montana. An attorney’s lien shall not exempt the dispute from

these rules.

(c) disputes regarding fees established by law, a court or administrative panel,

including but not limited to bankruptcy cases and worker’s compensation cases.
