MO HealthNet Hospice Provider Manual § 2.19

Out-of-State, Non-Emergency Services

All non-emergency, MO HealthNet covered services that are to be performed or furnished out-of- state for eligible MO HealthNet participants, and for which MHD is to be billed, must be prior authorized before the services are provided. Services that are not covered by the MO HealthNet are not approved. Refer to the General Sections Manual for more information.
