La. Sup. Ct. R. VIII, § 6
Electronic Devices and Recording
Cellular phones are permitted in the courtroom but must be turned off at all times.
Tablets are permitted but must be silenced. The use of any device to take
photographs, make audio or video recordings, or otherwise capture proceedings is
strictly prohibited in the courtroom and throughout the Chief Justice Pascal F.
