Amendments to the Rules of Administrative Procedure AP Part IV, Master Commissioners of the Circuit Court

ORDER
IN RE: Limits On Master Commissioner 2026 Compensation
Under CR 53.07, master commissioners are limited in their total personal
compensation derived from fees in accordance with the Rules of Administrative
Procedure of the Court of Justice, AP Part IV, Section 9, unless otherwise
approved by written order of the Chief Justice.
Upon review and recommendation by the Administrative Office of the Courts,
and consistent with compensation information previously distributed, it is
HEREBY ORDERED as follows:
(a) Master commissioners in the following counties shall be entitled to no
more than $66,618.00 in personal compensation:

Caldwell Calloway Carlisle Carroll
Carter Casey Clark Clay

(b) Master commissioners in the following counties shall be entitled to no
more than $72,691.00 in personal compensation:
Barren Hopkins Jessamine
(c) Master commissioners in the following counties shall be entitled to no
more than $78,763.00 in personal compensation:
Boyd Floyd Henry Pike
Christian Franklin Laurel Pulaski
Daviess Greenup Madison Warren
(d) Master commissioners in the following counties shall be entitled to no
more than $84,836.00 in personal compensation:
Bullitt Campbell McCracken
(e) Master commissioners in the following counties shall be entitled to no
more than $90,909.00 in personal compensation:
Boone
(f) Master commissioners in the following counties shall be entitled to no
more than $96,981.00 in personal compensation:
Hardin
(g) Master commissioners in the following counties shall be entitled to no
more than $121,271.00 in personal compensation:
Fayette Kenton
(h) Master commissioners in the following counties shall be entitled to no
more than $129,774.00 in personal compensation:
Jefferson
(i) Deputy master commissioners shall be entitled to no more than
$50,344.00 in personal compensation.
(j) Master commissioners in the following counties are authorized to operate
a full-time master commissioner’s office:
Campbell Daviess Fayette Hardin
Kenton Jefferson Warren
This Order shall be effective January 1, 2026, and until further Order.
