Obtaining the Randomized Jury List
(1) Following the notification of need for jurors, the chief circuit judge or his
or her designee shall use the Jury Management Program to request the
randomized jury list which will be drawn from the master list referred to
in Section 2 of these Rules. At the request of the chief circuit judge or his
or her designee, the list may be divided into smaller jury panels.
(2) The Administrative Office of the Courts, through the Jury Management
Program, shall provide a randomized list of prospective jurors.
(a) The chief circuit judge or his or her designee shall request said list as
needed, but in any event no later than 45 days before the date
prospective jurors are required to report for jury service.
(b) The Jury Management Program shall draw from the list a random
jury panel which contains a given number of names as requested by
the chief circuit judge or designee.
