Supreme Court Case No.

26S-MS-13

Appointment of Chair of ICLEO Advisory Committee

The Indiana Conference for Legal Education Opportunity (ICLEO) program operates

under Indiana Code chapter 33-24-13, providing assistance to individuals pursuing a law degree

and legal career in Indiana. Indiana Code section 33-24-13-3 creates an advisory committee,

whose members serve three-year terms, to select participants and guide the program. The former

Chief Administrative Officer of the Indiana Supreme Court, Justin Forkner, has resigned from

his position as Chair of the ICLEO Advisory Committee. The Court thanks Mr. Forkner for his

service. To fill his role, pursuant to my authority under Indiana Code section 33-24-13-3, I

appoint Justice Geoffrey Slaughter to serve a three-year term as Chair of the ICLEO Advisory

Committee commencing January 1, 2026.
