Order Appointing a Member to the State Board of Law Examiners

The State Board of Law Examiners, among other duties, is responsible for administering

the bar examination to bar applicants, certifying legal interns, and both approving and renewing

professional corporations, limited liability companies, and limited partnerships for the legal

profession. This Court, under Indiana Admission and Discipline Rule 9, appoints members to

the State Board of Law Examiners to serve for five-year terms with the terms of two Board

members expiring on December 1 of each year.

Board member Michael J. Jenuwine’s term expired on November 30, 2024. The Court

thanks Mr. Jenuwine for his years of service. To replace Mr. Jenuwine, the Court hereby

appoints Michael J. Pitts for a term beginning on February 5, 2025, and ending on November

30, 2029 or until a successor is appointed.
