Order Appointing a Member to the Judges and Lawyers Assistance
Committee
The Indiana Judges and Lawyers Assistance Program (JLAP) provides confidential
assistance to judges, lawyers, and law students experiencing any issue that may impact their
quality of life or ability to practice law. The Judges Lawyers Assistance Committee, established
by Rule 31(1) of the Indiana Rules for the Admission to the Bar and the Discipline of Attorneys,
oversees JLAP’s work. The Court appoints Committee members under Rule 31(3)(a).
Committee member Ashley E. Hart, whose term is set to expire on June 30, 2025, has
recently resigned to serve the Court in another capacity. The Court thanks Ms. Hart for her
service. To replace Ms. Hart, the Court hereby appoints Dean Allison D. Martin to the
Committee. Dean Martin shall complete the remainder of Ms. Hart’s term and will serve a term
in her own right from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2028, or until a successor is appointed.
