Order Appointing Members to the
Committee on Rules of Practice and Procedure
The Supreme Court created the Committee on Rules of Practice and Procedure to conduct
a continuous study of the Indiana Rules of Court. This Court appoints members to the Rules
Committee under Administrative Rule 4(C)(5).
The Court notes that the regular term of Rules Committee member Tony Patterson expires
on June 30, 2025. The Court thanks Mr. Patterson for his dedicated service. To replace him, the
Court appoints Emily Guenin-Hodson to an initial term beginning on July 1, 2025, and ending
on June 30, 2030.
The Court also notes that the initial term of Judge Margret Robb expires on June 30, 2025.
The Court reappoints Judge Robb to a new term beginning on July 1, 2025, and ending on June
30, 2030.
Finally, the Court notes that the current terms of Crystal Rowe and Professor Joel
Schumm expire on June 30, 2025. These members were appointed to fill the unexpired terms of
departing members. To allow each member to complete full terms, the Court reappoints Ms.
Rowe for a one-year term ending on June 30, 2026, and reappoints Professor Schumm to a two-year term ending on June 30, 2027.
