Order Appointing Members to the Judges and Lawyers Assistance
Committee
The Indiana Judges and Lawyers Assistance Program (JLAP) provides confidential
assistance to judges, lawyers, and law students experiencing any issue that may impact their
quality of life or ability to practice law. The Judges and Lawyers Assistance Committee,
established by Rule 31(1) of the Indiana Rules for the Admission to the Bar and the Discipline
of Attorneys, oversees JLAP’s work. The Court appoints Committee members under Rule
31(3)(a).
The terms of the Honorable Gina Jones and Tonya Bond as JLAP Committee members
will expire on June 30, 2025. The Court thanks Judge Jones and Ms. Bond for their service.
To replace them, the Court hereby appoints Commissioner Karyn J. Price and Shelley Gupta.
Commissioner Price and Ms. Gupta will serve terms from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2028,
or until their successors are appointed.
Further, the Court reappoints the Honorable Mary Ellen Diekhoff and Katherine Tapp to
second terms from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2028, or until their successors are appointed.
The Court also reappoints Cornelius J. Harrington, III to a third term from July 1, 2025,
through June 30, 2028, or until a successor is appointed.
