Parenting Plan
411.1. Parenting Time Guidelines
The Indiana Parenting Time Guidelines provide useful outlines of the minimum time each parent should
have with the children to maintain frequent, meaningful, and continuing contact with them. Those
Guidelines state that it is preferable that parents design their own parenting plan and turn to the
Guidelines if they are unable to create their own parenting time agreement. See: Parenting Time
Guidelines
411.2. Parenting Plan
A Parenting Plan may be filed in Domestic Relations with Children (DC) and Juvenile Paternity cases
when parents have an agreement on parenting time.

Unofficial copy of government-published law, reproduced from official sources with full provenance. Not an official publication; verify against official sources before relying on it in a filing. Records in the 'guidance' corpus, and only that corpus, are sub-regulatory (interpretive guidelines, survey procedures) and are not binding law. Validity bounds follow each jurisdiction's declared temporalBasis.
