Issues In Pimping
To sustain the charge of pimping, the State must prove the following propositions:
First Proposition: That the defendant received any money, property, token, object, or
article or anything of value from a prostitute; and
Second Proposition: That there was no lawful consideration for the defendant's receipt of
the money, property, token, object, or article or thing of value; and
Third Proposition: That the defendant knew that the money, property, token, object, or
article or thing of value was earned in whole or in part from the practice of prostitution.
If you find from your consideration of all the evidence that each one of these propositions
has been proved beyond a reasonable doubt, you should find the defendant guilty.
If you find from your consideration of all the evidence that any one of these propositions
has not been proved beyond a reasonable doubt, you should find the defendant not guilty.
