Definition Of Harboring A Runaway
A person commits the offense of harboring a runaway when he knowingly gives shelter
to a minor for more than 48 hours without the knowledge and consent of the minor's parent or
guardian, and without notifying local law enforcement authorities of the minor's name and the
fact that the minor is being provided shelter.
