Other Charge Or Charges

defendant[s] [(has) (have)] pleaded not guilty. Under the law, a person charged with first degree
murder may be found (1) not guilty of first degree murder; or (2) guilty of first degree murder; or
(3) guilty of second degree murder.
The defendant[s] [(is) (are)] also charged with the offense of ____. The defendant[s]
[(has) (have)] pleaded not guilty to that charge.
