Definition Of Violation Of Order Of Protection
A person commits the offense of violation of an order of protection when, having been
served notice of the contents of an order of protection, or otherwise having acquired actual
knowledge of the contents of the order, he [(commits an act which was prohibited by a court)
(fails to commit an act which was ordered by a court)] in an order of protection.
