Iowa R. Juv. P. 8.15
Multiple juvenile defendants
Two or more juveniles may be tried jointly if in the
discretion of the court a joint trial will not result in prejudice to one or more of the parties.
Otherwise, the juvenile defendants shall be tried separately. When tried jointly, the juvenile
defendants shall be adjudged separately on each count.
