Iowa Medicaid Hospice Provider Manual ch. III § D.3
Hospice in a Nursing Facility
For the purpose of the hospice benefit, a nursing facility (NF) may be
considered the home of a member receiving hospice. Hospice in an NF is
identified by the acronym hospice/NF.
