IN THE SUPREME COURT OF THE STATE OF HAWAII

In the Matter of the Seals

of the Courts for the State of Hawaii

ORDER

(By: Recktenwald, C.J., Nakayama, McKenna, Pollack, and Wilson, JJ.)

WHEREAS, Section 606-3 (Supp. 2013) of the Hawaii Revised

Statutes (HRS), provides that: "Each court of record shall have

a seal, which shall be approved by the Supreme Court"; and

WHEREAS, the Chief Court Administrator of the Third Circuit

for the State of Hawaii has submitted for approval a court seal design

for use by the Circuit, Family, and District Courts of the Third

Circuit.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that:

1. The court seal design submitted by the Third Circuit

and appended hereto, is approved;

2. Any future revisions of this court seal shall be

submitted to the Supreme Court for approval in accordance with HRS

section 606-3; and

3. The Chief Clerk of the Supreme Court shall maintain

a file with copies of all court seals being used by the Third Circuit.
