Haw. Sup. Ct. R. 2.10

Matters involving related pending civil or criminal litigation

Processing of complaints shall not be stayed or abated because of substantial similarity to the material allegations of pending criminal or civil litigation, unless authorized, for good cause shown, by the assigned member of the Disciplinary Board designated by the Chairperson to review recommendations of Disciplinary Counsel, or, if formal disciplinary proceedings have commenced, by the Disciplinary Board in its discretion.
