Haw. Pattern Jury Instr. (Criminal) 6.01A
Caution as to Accomplice
The testimony of an alleged accomplice should be examined
and weighed by you with greater care and caution than the
testimony of ordinary witnesses. You should decide whether the
witness’s testimony has been affected by the witness’s interest
in the outcome of the case, or by prejudice against the
defendant, or by the benefits that the witness stands to receive
because of his/her testimony, or by the witness’s fear of
retaliation from the government.
