Evidence of Polygraph Examination
EVIDENCE OF POLYGRAPH EXAMINATION
You will now hear evidence that the defendant was given a polygraph
examination during the investigation of this case. While this Court recognizes the
use of polygraph examinations for investigation purposes, the results of such tests
are inadmissible at trial because the scientific reliability of testing methods has not
been adequately established. You may not speculate as to the results of the
polygraph examination.
The facts and circumstances surrounding the polygraph test are relevant
only for the limited purpose of [purpose].
