Falsely Reporting an Incident

FALSELY REPORTING AN INCIDENT

In order to find Defendant guilty of Falsely Reporting an Incident, you must

find the State has proved the following three (3) elements beyond a reasonable

doubt:

(1) Defendant reported an alleged occurrence of an [offense/incident] to a

law-enforcement agency;

(2) The [offense/incident] did not occur; and

(3) Defendant acted knowingly.

“Knowingly” means Defendant knew or was aware the [offense/incident]

reported did not occur.
