Unlawfully Dealing with a Child

UNLAWFULLY DEALING WITH A CHILD

In order to find Defendant guilty of Unlawfully Dealing with a Child, you must

find the State has proved the following three (3) elements beyond a reasonable doubt:

(1) Defendant permitted [child] to [enter/remain] in [place], where unlawful

sexual activity was [maintained/conducted];

(2) [child] was a child at the time of the charged offense; and

(3) Defendant acted knowingly.

“Child” means any individual under the age of 18.

“Knowingly” means Defendant was aware Defendant had permitted [child] to

enter or remain in a place where such activities were taking place.
