RECKLESS CONDUCT DEFINED

Reckless conduct reflects a knowing disregard of a substantial and unjustifiable

risk. It amounts to an “I don’t care” attitude. Recklessness occurs when a person,

with no intent to cause harm, performs an act so unreasonable and so dangerous that

he or she knows, or should know, that harm will probably result.
