Effect of Instructions as to Punitive Damages
EFFECT OF INSTRUCTIONS AS TO PUNITIVE DAMAGES
The fact that I have instructed you about the proper measure of punitive
damages should not be considered as an indication that [plaintiff’s name] is entitled
to recover punitive damages from [defendant’s name]. The instructions on punitive
damages are given only for your guidance, in the event you find in favor of
[plaintiff’s name] on [his/her] claims for punitive damages.
