Motor Vehicles – No Imputation of Driver’s Negligence to Rider
NO IMPUTATION OF DRIVER’S NEGLIGENCE TO PASSENGER
A driver’s negligent conduct is not imputed to a passenger, unless the passenger
exercises some control over the driver’s operation of the vehicle.
If you find that [passenger’s name] did not exercise some control over [driver’s
name]’s operation of the vehicle, then [passenger’s name] is not liable for [driver’s
name] negligence.
