Expression of Opinion
EXPRESSION OF OPINION
An expression of an opinion or a speculation about future events, when clearly
made as such, is not considered fraud or misrepresentation even if the opinion or
speculation turns out to be untrue. But if an opinion or speculation is false and made
with the intent to deceive, then it is fraudulent in the same way that a misstatement
of fact is fraudulent.
