Hospice Provider Specific Policy Manual

This manual reflects the policies as they relate to Medicaid members who are paid Fee for

Service (FFS).

Hospice services are included in the Managed Care Organization (MCO) benefits package. All

Medicaid members who are enrolled with an MCO must receive hospice services through the

MCO. Please contact the appropriate MCO.

Members under 21 years of age who elect to receive Medicaid hospice care may also receive

concurrent Medicaid State Plan treatment for the terminal illness and other related conditions.
