Conn. Practice Book § 84a-2
Procedure for Filing Original Jurisdiction Action; Pleadings and Motions
An original jurisdiction action shall be filed in
accordance with the procedures for filing an
appeal as set forth in Section 63-3. Motions and
any other documents prescribed in the rules of
appellate procedure shall be filed in accordance
with the rules of appellate procedure. In all other
respects and unless otherwise ordered in a particular case, pleadings and motions shall be filed
in accordance with the Superior Court rules of
procedure, which may be taken as a guide to
procedure in an original action in this court.
