Compliance with the Law
A judge shall comply with the law.
History
(Effective Jan. 1, 2011.) COMMENT: This rule deals with the judge’s personal con- duct. A judge’s professional conduct in enforcing the law is covered by Rule 2.2. When applying and interpreting the law, a judge sometimes may make good faith errors of fact or law. Errors of this kind do not violate this Rule.
