Failure to Sound Horn

The plaintiff claims that the defendant failed to sound the motor vehicle’s horn prior to the

collision. A driver of a motor vehicle has a duty to use reasonable care to avoid injury to other

persons using the road. A driver has a duty to sound the horn prior to a collision to give warning

of that driver’s approach to other persons if a reasonably prudent person in the same

circumstances would do so.
