Sympathy/Prejudice
Please understand that your decision must not be reached on the basis of sympathy for or
prejudice against any party. The parties come to court asking simply for a cool, impartial
determination of the disputed issues based on the facts and the law. That is what they are
entitled to and that is how you should approach the decision of this case.
