ProvidersarerequiredtoconsulttheAmericanMedicalAssociation's(AMA)CurrentProceduralTerminology(CPT)manualforeachcodedservice.Somecodesrepresentatreatmentsessionwithoutregardtoitslengthoftime(oneunitmaximum)whileothercodesmaybebilledincrementallyas"timed"units.

Membersdeterminedtoneedaspeechgeneratingdevice(HCPCScodesE2500,E2502,E2504,E2510,E2211,E2512,andE2599)shouldbereferredtoaHealthFirstColoradoparticipatingmedicalsuppliertobepriorauthorized.

Allclaimsmustmeeteligibilityandclaimsubmissionrequirements(e.g.,timelyfiling,third-partyresourcespaymentpursued,requiredattachmentsincluded,etc.)beforepaymentcanbemade.
