Electronic Filing System Terms of Use (CourtReview Access)

Pursuant to Administrative Order 21

By accessing the CourtReview module of the Arkansas electronic filing system (eFlex), you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions:

Access Requirements

• Training Completion

• Judges, court staff, and clerks must:

• Register for and complete training provided by the Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC). Contact the AOC at courts.efiling@arcourts.gov for training information

• Request an eFlex account at https://eflex.arcourts.gov/

• Submit a completed eFlex Access and Security Approval Form, signed by the appropriate approving authority.

User Responsibilities

• Filing and Review

• You agree to review and approve court filings as instructed during training and documented in the training materials.

• Electronic Signature

• You consent to the replacement of a physical signature with a secure login process (username and password), followed by an electronic approval process.

• Electronic Service and Notification

• You accept electronic service via eFlex as valid and effective for all electronically filed documents, with the exception of documents that must be served with a summons or subpoena.

• You accept eFlex notifications as the official court notification of filed documents.

• You accept email notifications as a courtesy only, with the understanding that the official record resides in eFlex.

• User Profile Maintenance

• You will maintain your user profile with current:

• Email and physical address

• Phone number

• Username and password

• Monitoring and Security

• You agree to regularly monitor:

• eFlex queues

• Notifications and filing statuses

• Associated email accounts

• Attempted logins (noting that IP addresses are logged for security)

• You must immediately report suspected fraudulent activity to the AOC at:

• (501) 410-1900 or

• Toll-free (866) 823-5778

Confidentiality and Compliance

• You agree to:

• Submit, review, and approve documents in accordance with Administrative Order 19 and any other relevant court rules governing confidential information.

• Abide by the provisions of Administrative Order 21 and other applicable electronic filing rules.

• You have reviewed and agree to the Electronic Filing Rejection Policy

• You must not disclose confidential information obtained through this system to any unauthorized individuals.

• Your use of this system is limited to legitimate court business only.

• Misuse of the system or its data may result in:

• Termination of your employment

• Criminal prosecution

Acknowledgment

• By accessing the eFlex system, you certify that:

• You have a legitimate business need to do so.

• You understand and accept these terms.

• This agreement remains in effect as long as you are a registered user of the eFlex system.
